Pasay City National Science High School officially launched Open House 2025 on March 24, a two-day event aimed at giving Grade 12 students hands-on experience in entrepreneurship. The event will run until today, March 25.
Led by organizers Xyrel James Canonoy, Zyriel Josh Coronel, Shaun Mustang Jacinto, and Entrepreneurship adviser Maria Luz Rogacion, the event transforms the school grounds into a marketplace with booths showcasing various entrepreneurial ideas, talents, and specialties lining the area, offering tutoring services, snacks, clothes, photo booths, and souvenir items.
“It was a nice experience kahit hindi ko nabisita lahat ng booths sa dami nila. Kitang kita mo yung dedication and determination ng kada booth na mag-serve sa customers nila na nagiging basehan ng capabilities nila bilang isang entrepreneur. Naubos yung pera ko pero masasabi ko namang worth it,” said Simon Mchale Mayrina, a Grade 7 student, sharing his experience.
The event allows Grade 12 students to put their knowledge into practice by creating and managing their own businesses, from marketing to selling products. It also serves as a platform to develop essential business skills such as customer interaction, promotion, and money handling.
“As we start the event, ngayon pa lang, we recognize the hard work behind every venture and hope this experience inspires them to pursue greater entrepreneurial endeavors in the future,” said Xyrel Canonoy, acknowledging the effort of booth facilitators.
