More than 1.5 million members of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) gathered today at Quirino Grandstand for the “National Rally for Peace,” a powerful demonstration of support for Vice President Sara Duterte amid calls for her impeachment.
The rally, organized by the influential religious group, aimed to showcase unity and solidarity against political unrest, echoing President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s appeal to reject impeachment efforts and prioritize national stability.
Following the rally, Vice President Duterte expressed her heartfelt gratitude to INC for their unwavering support.
“This is a powerful display of unity and faith, driven by the sole desire for peace and progress in our country,” the Vice President said.
The rally featured prayers, speeches, and calls for cooperation and unity, aligning with the Marcos administration’s vision of a peaceful and progressive Philippines.
