Under the theme “Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character,” Pasay City National Science High School (PCNSciHS) successfully conducted its 9th Commencement Exercises for the Class of 2026 on March 26 at the school gymnasium.

School Principal II Dr. Mark Anthony Familaran presented and confirmed the candidates for graduation, while the certification and conferment of diplomas were carried out through Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Joel T. Torrecampo, CESO VI, represented by Public Schools District Supervisor Dr. Renato B. Mesada. Outstanding graduates were recognized for their academic excellence and leadership.

Selected honor students delivered meaningful messages during the ceremony. Sofia Michiko L. Yamamoto (With High Honors) encouraged her fellow graduates to carry the values of determination, integrity, and dignity wherever their paths may lead. Julie Mael M. Dimla (With High Honors) emphasized that graduation is not the end but the beginning of continuous learning. Filha Ray Penelope J. Bautista (With High Honors) expressed gratitude to the school, teachers, and families for their unwavering support.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Pasay City Mayor Hon. Imelda “Emi” Calixto-Rubiano and Councilor Luigi Calixto-Rubiano. Messages were also delivered through video by Lone Representative Hon. Antonino G. Calixto and Department of Education Secretary Hon. Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara, highlighting the importance of integrity, competence, and service. A regional message from DepEd NCR Regional Director Dr. Jocelyn DR Andaya was shared by Dr. Maripaz T. Mendoza, Chief Education Supervisor-SGOD.

The program began at 4:00 PM with the traditional entrance of colors and concluded at 7:00 PM. As a symbol of their shared journey, the graduates sang “Minsan” by the Eraserheads as their graduation song.

The ceremony marked the successful completion of senior high school for the Class of 2026, signifying their readiness to pursue higher education and contribute meaningfully to society.
